Hi,

My name is Silmara. I’m originally from Brazil but have lived in the U.S for over 30 years with my husband Eric, and my two daughters, Isabella and Sofia.


I always loved having parties at home. In my culture, parties at home are the norm. In 2015 I decided to throw a SPA theme party for my then 7 year old daughter. To my surprise it was a huge sucess among her friends. I realized there was a niche for mobile parties. Next year I threw my daughter a sleepover party. I had already two teepees at home, and I decided to buy 2 extra ones. Needless to say, the girls had a blast! I saw them laughing and bonding with each other, in a different way, in a “dreamy” way. And right there, it dawned on me, wouldn't it be great to offer this kind of party to other kids too? And thus, from that innocent appeal, the concept of Ma Cherie was born.


I love creating magical sleepovers and I do each setup as I’d for my girls. Let's talk and let me help you create a sleepover party that your kid won’t forget!

  • What are your COVID-19 precautions?

    All bed linens, mattress, plush animals, decorative pillows, rugs, teepees, tents, etc are sprayed with anti-bacterial fabric spray and then collected and transferred to laundering.


    All washable items are then thoroughly laundered using anti-bacterial additive and washed on sanitize cycle. All items are dried on a heat cycle.


    All hard surfaces are treated with disinfectant spray/or steam cleaned to eliminate bacteria and virus.


    I’m fully vaccinated and I’ll wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.


    Lysol spray is also offered after each setup in case you feel you need an extra layer of protection.

  • How much space do I need?

    Each teepee is 4ftx4ft, and the mattress is 5ft long. Unfortunately, I can’t move furniture, so space has to be available.

  • Can I select a custom theme?

    Yes you can for an additional fee. Please contact Ma Cherie to discuss your ideas.

  • Can teepees be used outside?

    The teepees are for indoor use, but if you want to have a party for few hours outside, then it’s possible.

  • Do I need to bring my own pillow?

    Yes. For hygienic reasons we ask the kids to bring their own pillow. The ones included in the setup is for decoration only.

  • ​Can pets sleep in our tents?

    We love our pets, but all animals should be kept away from the teepees due to some children having extreme allergic reactions to animal hair (which is not always easy to eliminate despite thoroughly washing).

  • How do I book a party?

    There’s a $75 booking fee in order to reserve the date. This amount will be applied to your final balance. Payment can be done through Venmo or PayPal.

  • When is final payment due?

    It's due at the time of delivery

  • What's the cancellation policy?

    Your booking fee is non-refundable. You can however reschedule your party to another date to retain your deposit.
